Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

As Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you verify and test the cooling and mechanical systems of data centers in the Paris region, from factory tests to integrated systems testing. You work on site alongside the commissioning manager, contractors and equipment vendors.

• Review mechanical designs, control sequences and test procedures

• Witness factory acceptance tests of chillers, CRAH/CRAC units and pumps

• Carry out installation checks, flushing verification, startup and functional tests

• Verify control sequences and BMS integration, including failure and changeover scenarios

• Take part in heat load testing and integrated systems testing

• Record checklists, test results and issues in CxAlloy and follow them up until they are closed

• Engineering degree or technical diploma in mechanical or HVAC engineering

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC commissioning, testing or startup, ideally on data centers or other critical facilities

• Good knowledge of chilled water systems, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, air handling and BMS controls

• Ability to read P&IDs, control sequences and points lists

• Knowledge of fire protection systems is a plus

• French required, good working English
